The Friends of the Marengo-Union Library are having a Bake Sale & Youth Book Sale all day long on Saturday, October 9th! In addition to yummy baked goods, used cookbooks will also be on sale. Plus, don’t forget the books for kids!

The library’s book discussion group selection for this month is Open House by Elizabeth Berg. Plot summary: after twenty years of marriage, Samantha must cope with all the fall-out of a divorce. Copies of this book are available at the front desk.
Learn the fundamentals for cleaning your home: how, when, and why. Discussion and basic cleaning information will be shared. This two-hour long program is for those aged 18 & up, and registration is required.
