Lapsit is for children aged birth through two years. This storytime is a great opportunity for parents to interact with their caregivers using songs, fingerplays, and of course, books! Start: 10:30 am
Toddler time is for children between the ages of 2 and 3 years. This storytime is a fun time filled with dancing, fingerplays, and books! It is also a great opportunity to bring your tots in for fun social interaction. Start: 4:15 pm
Grades 4-7 Meeting twice a month, children will be able to practice and perform short skits and plays. Other activites include making puppets, as well as designing scenery, costumes, and props. More information is available at the Library. Registration required. Start: 6:30 pm
Art and architectural historian Jeff Mishur will present a slide lecture about the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago (mentioned in the book "The Devil in the White City"). The program will include the design of the fairgrounds and certain pavilions as well as important personalities such as Daniel Burnham and Louis Sullivan. | ||
