The McHenry County Historical Society’s mobile history museum “The James” will be in the parking lot by the library from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Celebrate Roald Dahl's book  "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" with movie watching, chocolate hunting, Golden Tickets, and more!

At 11:00 a.m. view the orginal movie based on the book  Program including movie, is approximately 2 hours. Rated G.

At 2:00 p.m. view the new version with Johnny Depp. Program including movie, is approximately 2 1/2 hours. Rated PG.

Each movie will be followed by a search for the Golden Ticket.  Finders of the Golden Ticket will win a ride in the Library's own glass elevator!
