Borrowing PrivilegesLoan periods:21 days for books, cdroms and audiobooks, 14 days for new fiction and magazines, 7 days for DVDs and videos. Loan limits: 20 total items, a limit of 5 for videos, new fiction, magazines, cdroms, a limit of 3 for DVDs. Fines: All library materials carry a late fine of $.20 per day per item except videos and DVDs which carry a late fine of $1.00 per day per item. Interlibrary LoanMarengo-Union Library cardholders can request books, DVDs, or other items that the Library doesn't own from other libraries. Interlibrary loan requests can be made in person, by phone or online through Firstsearch. Firstsearch is available from our Online Library link. Programs and EventsWe have a regular schedule of educational and cultural events for all ages. See our calendar for details. ComputersThe Library has ten computers available for public use. The Library's public computers offer high speed internet access, Microsoft products and color ($1.00/page) and black & white ($.10/page) printing. Children under the age of 18 need a parent or legal guardian to sign a permission form before they can use the public computers. WiFi AccessThe Library offers WiFi access for any WiFi-enabled device. Copier and Fax MachinePhotocopies can be made on our public copier for $.10/page. Library staff will be happy to send a fax for $1.50/page or receive a fax for $1.00/page. International fax fees are $10.00/page. Homebound OutreachWe have a Homebound Outreach program for our patrons who are physically unable to come into the Library. Volunteers from the community deliver selected materials from the Library's collection to qualifying patrons.
